It seems as if LitteBigPlanet public beta is almost ready and could be hitting PSN very soon, maybe by the fall if the rumors are anything to go by. The game has got many gamers excited and lets be fair it does look fantastic.
please before september :D
3 weeks ago. Man, I hope they add me. =]
i want a beta now
That would be a nice early Xmas present :)
I can't wait to get my hands on the Beta, but I have a funny feeling it's just gonna leave me wanting more! Sony's givin' me gaming fever -- I don't know if I can wait until next year when this game releases for the cure!
The graphics and physics look slick but i am still kinda lost as to what the point of the game is? Does it have levels and an objective? I am not ripping on the game i just honestly dont know.
LBP is just to allow people creat user-generated levels ideas and what not. It helps people design a "game" in some sense. No objective just be creative
yes there are going to be levels, didn't you see the big gdc demo?
you go through the (user-designed) levels and have to solve all different sorts of puzzles and stuff.
Actually it does come with pre-created levels that have objectives & a minimal story behind it. It's also through playing throught these levels that you gain extra 'rewards' that you can use when creating your own characters & levels.
But the primary driving force behind the game is user created content.
Give me Give me Give me Give me... but now!.
man where do i sign up?
thanks maddens raiders.
Is that this summer, or spring/summer 2008?
he means shipping Spring/Summer 2008, but back when the game was unveiled, Phil Harrison said it would first be available as a downloadable beta in the fall of 2007.
this game is so big
play this game...I will
When I first this game, it looked liked a kid's game and I didn't see what the hype was all about. Now I see the physics, graphics, co-op play and the level of creativity of this game and I can see why it is such an aniticipated game and was so well received when it was first seen. I think this game is very original and may help move a lot of consoles.
I have the creativity level of a house-fly, so the part I'm looking forward to most is seeing all of the weird, amazing levels that other people will make and then playing with people across the world. Man, I can't wait!
