you will need the halfbyte loader and the patapon demo for you to run this.

I think your problem has been cleared up by a helpful comment on Games Lowdown.

Sadly...
I can't even get a SNES emulator to work on my PSP2000/3000 (not sure which I have). Well, there IS a way, but that would mean having to change the firmware back to an old version I believe... which seems like a hassle.

Personally, I prefer to emulate games on my PC. My original PSP1001 is able to play SNES via SNES9X, but I still vastly prefer the games on my PC.

cps2psp ans mvs2psp are so good they are actually better than any pc emulator in my opinion.

The screen rez is sublime. marvel vs capcom on psp is win

Lol NO!!! Just no...

I have far better experience with my PC for this kind of stuff, could it be because I use GGPO,Kaillera emus and my PS3's TE Stick with a VIA chip usb card adapter to play those arcade games? obviously you understand that right...?

If you've ever tried to play a PC SNES emulator on a relatively new PC you'd see that combined with screen filters and multiple audio options combined with a slew of other options, emulators run far better on a computer with far more processing power than the PSP. My Core 2 Quad clocked at 3.25GHz combined with my 4GB of RAM clocked at 975MHz, emulators perform far better on my PC than I've ever found on the limited PSP's 333MHz CPU and even more limited RAM. If your PC is that slow that your PSP can run an SNES emulator better than it, then I'm glad you have that option. But I know that an emulator on my PSP will be incomparably slower than my modern PC.

Does this work on a psp3000?

I gotta try this after school!

Doesn't appear to work. I'm running halfbyte loader fine (works fine, ran from the Patapon 2 demo) but the SNES emulator just crashes soon as it loads. It's been 'patched' too although all the patch appears to do is add features like save states which aren't exactly important when all I'm trying to do at this stage is get it working.

I'll try some other hbl apps.

Much better guide, after a little messing around I got mine working.
