Earlier today, Atari and Krome Studios announced that Blade Kitten, one time PS3 exclusive, would now see a release on XBLA, PC, and PSN. With a new release date set for the title, Blade Kitten will be slashing way towards the end of the summer.
looks good but i thought this game was a PSN exclusive
Was before this announcement and ESRB leak last week.
ghamdikh1 | February 20th, 2010 at 1:56 am @Steve Stamatiadis is Blade Kitten a PSN exclusive or is it coming to other consoles???????? Steve Stamatiadis | March 5th, 2010 at 4:40 pm Yup PSN Exclusive. http://blog.us.playstation....
Honestly, I don't care if it's not exclusive. It looks so generic and fake. It's annoying. But gameplay's seems good.
But i just buy exclusives when it comes to PSN/XBLA/WiiWare. I did not regret buying, Prince of Persia (XBLA), Shadow Complex nor did regret buying Stardust, Wipeout, FatPrincess, Flower, but when it comes to multiplataform games (download only)I did regret MANY games that i bought even knowing that the score was high. They wasnt polished enough on the other hand the exclusives was.Dunno why but thats a fact. Fell sad for the developer, not going to land my money to them :/ good luck to the franchise.
Usually it's because they just port it right over and don't tweak it enough to work as well on the other system. Hopefully they do it right with this one.
there are loads of non exclusive games out there that are fantastic and either were initially multi plat at development or ended up(or will end up) non exclusive afterward Braid, Castle Crashers, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Mega Man 9, PB Winterbottom... etc etc etc maybe you should just pick better games to buy ;) i have plenty of regretted purchases on both XBLA/PSN... but they are almost always tied to impulse buying and/or not playing the demo. Blade Kitten looks pretty cool to me. looking forward to checking it out.
XBLA version and PC = BOUGHT!
As I said on another similar article; Krome downsizing probably had a part in this. No matter, as long as PS3 in ALL REGIONS gets it the same time as XBLA.
It always looked like a mediocre game to me and now I know why. I guess they didn't want to put a lot of effort into it (which shows). I'll be getting Joe Danger instead as for this game I will pass but i'm sure it will sell to all of the weeaboo furries.
Claiming they didn't wish to put alot of effort into the game. Going multiplatform will infact mean they have to put even more effort into it.
I'll have to disagree with you there. I'm getting 'Jak' vibes off of this game.
@Demons Souls so in your head, mediocrity equals multiplat games, that you feel the need to trash even though you haven't played, or actually know what 'kind of effort' went into them... yet, you're looking forward to buying Joe Danger... which was developed originally as a XBLA/PC game (which up until recently was still showing the xbox buttons in screens/trailers) and is only recently a PSN exclusive. hmmm... i wonder how you might define hypocrisy ;)
This is arcade type of game, do you expect everything to look like UC2 even PSN arcade games? This type of game may not rock your boat, but saying it suck just because it is a multi-platform game shows that you just another dumb fanboy who can't enjoy game.
This game didn't hold as much hype as other PSN exclusives, the developers and producers probably predicted poor sales. I personally wasn't interested in this game regardless, hopefully having a wider audience will help the developers financially.
