From the PlanetXbox360 feature top list:
"Absolutely magnificent is the simplest phrase I can use to relate my feelings about Blur so far. Offering players what many who grew up playing Mario Kart will have caught themselves wishing for on more than one occasion and while Mario Kart has been around for a little over a decade, that doesn’t make it a bad game. It merely has failed to adequately adapt to the times or the audience that grew up playing the original. Where successive iterations of Mario Kart only gave players one or two new features to expect, a single release of Blur has seemingly revamped a good deal of what has started making Nintendo’s series come off as contrived. Both games possess the ability to cater to niche audiences, however, what makes Blur pose such a danger to Mario Kart is the subtle differences presented that appeal to players who have long since grown up, and perhaps, away from Nintendo."
