Do We Actually Welcome The Summer Drought?

PSX Extreme writes: "Obviously, we've already seen some amazing games this year. It'd be no exaggeration to say that we've seen at least a few absolute gems, and that includes God of War III, Red Dead Redemption, Heavy Rain, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Bioshock 2, Bayonetta, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Final Fantasy XIII and others. And looking into the summer months...well, we're not really seeing much of anything in the way of must-have titles. ...but are we really complaining?"

With so many game release this year, it actually gives some of us the time to pick up those unplayed games.

While i am waiting for Starcraft 2

i got the following games pending to play:

Bad company 2 single player(been too busy with MP lol)
GTA Episodes
Need for speed shift
Stalker call of the pripyat
Torchlight
Dragon age awakening

if you dont have any other game, i think gamers should re look at the last gen games and try it out.

you know that one game where you probably couldnt afford it and just waited for it to get cheaper and for got about it.

I bet its now way cheaper

Even replaying old games can be quite a bit of fun. Few months back i played:

Dungeon keeper 2 (2000)
Half life 2 (2004)
Far Cry (2004)
Warcraft 3 (2003)

Its so stupid, people PLAY GAMES a lot in the summer holidays, WHY DON'T they release big new games in the summeR?!!!!!!!

No school = more free time for kids = more game bought/played
