3-Way Tie (For Last): Natal Hands-On

A few days ago the Faceoff Games team were invited to have a go on Microsoft's mysterious new controllerless console codenamed "The Natal Project". But what did they think, how did they perform and how many bad jokes can they make? Read on for the answer to all three... (Microsoft, natal, Xbox 360)

..great read...
Dara was really upset...Dave was kicker her a$$ in everthing...lol...Sean seemed to be the more level headed...poor Dara, she'll never live this down...I wonder if she's a blond...very cute.." your suppose to grab this ball thing-y on screen "...LMAO...

I think the Sean character hit the nail on the head...Playing this game in a room full of strangers would could make you ( Dara ) uncomfortable...

E3 will have more apps other than swatting balls...lol...the face and voice recognizing apps should be interesting...check out the first example in the video where the game calls you by your actually name...that would be INSANE...lol...Computer...stre am video for Natal....

i think its the price of it and the games that will make it for both natal and move, if they said that natal will be 150.00 then it will fail if its 50-60 bucks then more people will get it, i now i will get the move if there games are good i don't have a 360 ( i had 3 of them)

$150.00 and the opinion similar to the people who tested it in this article does not spell a bright future for Natal.

What? This is the first some-what negative opinion I have read on Natal, and you are basing 1 sites opinion of Natal if it will spell a bright future or not??? That's pretty pathetic.

There have been TONS of positive reviews for Natal and I for one WILL be buying Natal even if it is $150. Your comment is a sad sad attempt at trolling Natal articles.

Wii Fit sold for $100 and did well
Guitar Hero sold for $80 and did well
Rockband/Band Hero sold for $170 and did well
DJ hero did moderately well $70

If the games that come out are good, then Natal will sell well.
Thus far, the press has only gotten their hands on a few demos/games

1) Ricochet
2) Burnout
3) Katamari
4) Painting Demo

None of those are big sellers

Like I've been saying, we haven't actually heard from the company itself about the price and we haven't seen any of the troves of games being developed. We can speculate all we want, Microsoft might even be waiting to get the price on the Move before they come out with their own price.
If it's $100 or so I'd say that's pretty cheap for something that has so much more then gaming capabilities. Also, take this into consideration. You only need 1 Natal or Wave or whatever it's called and you and your friends/Family can play in the same room together. So if it's $100 then that's all you need to include everyone. With Move, you need controllers for all, which could really, REALLY add up. just saying....

nobody blinks an eye buying multiple wiimotes so why would they suddenly lose their shit over needing a couple move controllers? we=/=the average consumer. the average consumer drops money without even thinking about it. i've worked at gamestop, i've seen it; the moms plunking down every wii accessory in the store onto the counter and not even flinching as they pull out the credit card.

cost plays no part in the thought process of your everyday sheeple.

I agree 100%
I would like to pay as little as posible for Natal. But if you step back and analyse the pricing of the move for example, that thing is $69 for just the part with the bulb on the end. If you want to play that fighting game, you are going to need 2 ($138). If you then decide it is time for some Socom, you now need to fork over at least $40 more for that. All this assume that you already have the PSeye. If you don't already have the PSeye, you are looking at $30 more. That's $208 for just 1 user.
