First gameplay videos of Clive Barker's Jericho, the a squad-based action/horror game based on an original concept and story by acclaimed horror writer and film maker Clive Barker.
wow...that chick making cliche comments isn't annoying at all...
other than that it looks...ok...I guess...
but i have no doubt that PS3 will get a crappy port =[
and they were all being released at the same time. No?
BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES BUBBLES, GIVE SOME HERE!!!!!!
PC is lead platform followed by the other two.
It´s a little to dark, i couldnt see any of the enemeys...
Agreed.I hope the game really isn't that dark I can see that being a problem...
Its not that dark fella`s, just the vids.
Do they always get these cheesy voice over actors to do these games. Man this game makes The Darkness seem it took place in Hawaii. Hope it just bad video compression cause man its a little too dark. The main dude sounds like SOLID SNAKE!
I dont care much about the game's dialogue or something (Afterall, a lot of horror movies have these cheesy dialogue) but it is the atmosphere and design that make Jericho a must have in my book. Great find and great video.
Do these devs create beautiful graphics only to hide them in the dark?
I see it time and time again and it's really getting annoying.
That said Jericho looks like the type of game I like to play hopefully it's not as dark as it looks here and BTW I liked some of the cheesy one liners, The catholic school line cracked me up big time.
I will more than likely pick it up.
There are lot more one-liners where that came from!
Wow. This game is going to make me change my shorts every time I play it.
Graphically it looks great, gameplay looks fun, survival/horror element looks well done, especially in those tight corridors. This game is going to freak some gamers out, including me. It will definately be one of the better games of this genre.
Although the game did look a little dark, it sure does add to the evil ambiance. Just think, you won't be able to see the enemy in front of you until you start shooting and light up the area with gunfire. Then in front of your face is this evil undead freak whose face is shining in the light of your gunfire and scares the hell out of you. I think it'll be fun and very unnerving.
Lastly, I think that chick has more testosterone than any of the guys in her group. And her sailor's mouth, my, my, my, naughty girl.
To everyone, relax, the game is not this dark, its just the vids. The game is dark but not to hide any "discrepencies". You have a flashlight at all times also. As with most game theres an option to adjust the gamma setting.
Believe it or not "The Darkness" is not that dark at all but some of the online vids were almost un-viewable.
PC isn't the lead platform, it was made for all platforms at the same time and they will ALL be the same, no worries. Looks awesome though bet it even looks better when your playing it.
"PC isn't the lead platform, it was made for all platforms at the same time"
Not too clever when it comes to game development are you? Although the 3 versions are developed at the same time (shock horror), there is still a LEAD platform, i don`t know why im bothering actually explaining to you! I leave you with this.
Me and my collegue supplied the temp score for the game over a 6 month period, ive been to Mercury Steam in Madrid 3 times since December implementing the music into the game, I know everything about the game (naturally), I have many builds of the game sat on my hard drive. So please........work harder to gain more bubbles.
Finally some vids!
This one has literally been on my wanted list since mid 2006.
For those who haven't seen any, here's some sick screens ;)
just cause they're so damn impressive!
