The raunchiness of Japanese Xbox 360 continues to progress, with the latest title to come to the attention of erogamers, “Ore no Yome – Anata-dake no Hanayome,” featuring nude bathing scenes and Rie Kugimiya. Source is NSFW.
and I approve of this game. PBR
is Sooo adopted
inb4 Chris Hansen tells you take a seat.
The Americans will NEVER approve these. What makes it even worse the x360 is not a regionfree console. Should I say DO'H!?
So, if you live in the USA and want to play this game you will need to buy (import) another 360? They should be used to buying multiple 360's by now. No biggie. xP
Yeah pretty much yes. Plus since the electrical systems are a little different in USA and in Japan I'm assuming you will need a step down converter too. Those things are costly. This game better be worth it....:P
Well actually, it depends if the game is region locked or not. Not all games are region locked.
Microsoft never seems to give up in japan.. gotta admire there will
"Xbox 360 Now Has A New Erotic Game: Ore no Yome" GOTY confirmed.. /s
Game now days aren't even that bad, Back in the Atari days they had XXX rated games, AVGN did a show on it once, I didn't realize they could get away with what they did back then, seems like we cant even get away with half the stuff now. I could care less about this game, gimmie Halo Reach, Fable 3, Crackdown 2, Ninety Nine Nights 2 and Gears of War 3 and I'll be happy....Well throw in Natal and some games :) then I'd be happy
It would get an AO rating. Too bad the 360 isn't region free. >:(
I'd rather pay a hooker to chop my balls off than play this. Seriously I don't know why the japanese buy this crap when they have 100mbps connections which could instantly stream lesbian HD Porn for free.
I'm surprised and disappointed... Not by MS or this game, but by the narrow-mindedness of some these comments. From fanboy trolling to puritanical disgust, some of you are missing the larger picture. Ignore the anime influence, ignore that it's MS, ignore the region issues. Can we address the adult nature of the game? I'm really tired of games only being about violence. Granted, I love destroying shit as much as the next heathen, but aren't we the ones arguing that games are an ART FORM? So...am I to understand that we want this art form to be filled with nothing but blood and bullets and dismemberment and 256 player deathmatches? What does that say about us? Where some see an erotic game, I see a game trying to tackle a different part of the human experience. What's so wrong with interactive porn? Yes, the Japanese have had it for quite for some time, and yes, on the surface it may appear nerdy and pathetic. But most of these games aren't without a certain charm. And for us western gamers to always be clamoring for more mature themes, it seems grossly immature when most of you hurl rocks at the game with the scarlet latter. Bottom line: so it's okay to fuck a prostitute in your car then beat her and steal her cash, but a game depicting two adults showing their mutual affection for one another is taboo? I wish you all could see me shaking my head in judgement of you. endrant
but that actually made sense....
Have you ever heard of the word 'shame' ?
Well if you don't feel ashamed at the fact you are supporting pornographic games and treating them as works of art then there's nothing much I can say to you. =/
Thank you Eamon for illustrating my point beautifully. Enjoy your endless slaughter of digital people.
You, good Sir, deserve bubbles.
@IcarusOne Great post However most of these can barely be considered erotic games. They offer maybe few minutes as in Few pictures of H-scenes while focusing more on the story. (which surprisingly is often better than in most modern games ) After trying out visual novels such as Sharin no kunin, Fate stay night, Tsukihime, Family project etc etc. I would be more than happy to see more acceptance for these kinds of games. Shame? There's far more shame in bashing things one knows nothing about. If I find a form of entertainment that some people like and recommend I am not close minded enough to go around bashing their opinions. Instead I prefer checking out what the fuss is about. I have found many great games, visual novels/eroge, movies, series trough recommendations from friends, forum users, random people. "so it's okay to fuck a prostitute in your car then beat her and steal her cash, but a game depicting two adults showing their mutual affection for one another is taboo?" <- this would make a great quote points and thumbs up for Microsoft and the developers for this game.
is the most perverted country in the world.
seriously this is only a game for anime ***get loving worshippers
Pootangpie, your so of so much fail, its not even funny. BTW, even though you ******'ed the word, I still know it, and you don't get to use it, you biggot. Do me a favor and take a Ethnic Cultures Class at your Community College.
What about the west. they are saints now.
I have no problem with these games (even though they usually are very poor gameplay-wise) I hope someday we'll see real games with an erotic component that's not only made for masturbation purpose (well, it's always a bit for that, but that's fine). And also deep and strong love stories (there are a few examples, but this theme is very rare in videogames while it's the basis of a lot of books, music and movies) And I think it's a good idea to make it with some art style (most of the time it's anime style as those games are essentially for japanese market) because with photorealistic graphics, the uncanny valley could make it pretty disturbing
Ah, Eroge... It might be taboo in the USA, but in Japan it's not only legal, but a semi successful subgenre. Some of the more popular ones get an anime or manga adaptation.
hum maybe not...better keep the tv clean!
