Do you think RDR has knocked GTA out of the number one rockstar game, spot? Or do you think GTA is still standing strong?
For me I definately think RDR is better. It's a breath of fresh air to have a game set in the wild west in todays market which is overly saturated with modern shooters, futuristic shooters and other open world games set in modern day. The biggest thing for me though is that this feels like a current gen "Gun" which was easily one of my favourite games last gen :)
For me. I love the GTA series, but RDR has pushed that style even further. The attention to detail is outta the park and I see something new every time I play. I'm loving the evolution of sandbox games.
The reason I like RDR over GTA is because unlike GTA, I care about the story along with the massive bloodbath that follows. I almost feel the only reason Rock Star still makes GTA games is because everyone will buy that and then they can slab the "From the makers of GTA!!!!" tab on their better quality games to show that they can make a story fans should somewhat care about.
