Videogameszone compared the graphical differences between the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the new Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
please... please... Stop whith this "Screen comparison" thing
Yea, the game is fine on both consoles
Not even videogamezone can hide the differences this time.
this game will suck, so this is pointless.
@Robert. I really, really hoped it wouldn't suck but it just doesn't seem have the same "je n'ai cest que" as the PoP games from PS2. Ah well. Guess I'll have to wait for Mirrors Edge 2 until i get a decent acrobatic game.
seriously the WORST site for game comparisons right here.. just awful and always trying to beat the real sites that do this like DF and LoT. anyway, 360 version for the win again even with this poor comparison.
I agree that this is the worse site for comparisons.
hate comparisons... is only for flame bait....
mmmm, normaly I'm taking for the ps3 sides since the lighting is almost always better, but this title is clearer on the 360. not that you could really see this when your playing (in motion), but when looking at those screenshot, it seems the 360 got better textures. one of the best screenshot to see the difference is the seventh one. the enemies are clearer on 360 than ps3. Well, the ps3 and the 360 can't be better than the other in every title.
The 360 version does seem to have better textures. And the enemies are less blurry as well.
Normally PS3 has better lighting? LOl You mean you like the low contrast faded look of PS3 hardware better.
Looks good on both consoles.
No, seriously, they look the exact same. Can we just enjoy the game?
Since the game will probably be mediocre, no, I cannot enjoy this game on either one of my consoles.
Why is mediocrity always being compared to mediocrity? Why don't we only compare the best on each console? This multiplat doesn't push the bar in any way shape or form.
Some people own both platforms and want to buy the better running version. Simple as that. It's not a my console is bigger than your console thing. Why can't people get that?
If you really want to compare hardware...go build a pc.
Most Multiplat game differences are not even worth mentioning which why these comparisons are usually pretty stupid except in the case of bayonetta and final fantasy
@ Dirthurts Yes, but in this case there is really no difference to report.
But not enough to really push one way or the other. As long as the frame rates hold up the two versions are similar enough to where you should just pick your favorite controller. I don't expect even the PC version to look much better, except for much higher resolution with Ubisofts track record as of late. But you are correct. Very little difference.
Actually it looks quite good, better than average, and I think better that Red Dead Redemption, the other game I got today. The cut scenes were excellent. A bit too good in fact as it's a bit jarring switching from cut scene to game play.
yawn this game looks like something you expect to see on the wii, who cares if it looks better on what platform i have gow iii which smashes all hack and slash titles to oblivion on gfx, story and gameplay
My eyes don't seem to give a damn and I don't either.
This is what i notice. on both RDR and POPFS. Textures are the same more or less. On 360 it is cleaner looking. Now this is either due to QAA or Lower Rez.
Why do a screen comparison when nobody cares about the game itself? .. Kind of a waste of time really if you ask me.. *shrugs*
the internet says it so it must be true. /s if it weren't for these sites NOBODY would know, nor care, about any differences.
Waiting for lensoftruth or eurogamer comparisons (can't believe I'm saying that).
too bad the first PoP artstyle looked way better.. but the gameplay sucked, I think this game will be the opposite
So they look different? Big surprise, they are on different hardware. I presume this means X360 is better console? Gosh, too bad i have PS3. So I must buy original games.
The graphics in this game are nothing to shout about anyway, so the fact that it's worse on PS3 leaves me quite bitter. But I still might pick it up.
I like video and image comparisons, however I like them done by sites the have perfected it, not lame sites. Especially if your a 2 system owner, it pays to know which one has the superior version.
