In-depth Review: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands - Electronic Theatre

While Ubisoft deny any relation to the Prince of Persia motion-picture about to hit cinemas nationwide, it doesn’t take a cynic to understand the benefits of revisiting the series upon which that movie is based. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands takes place between Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and it’s follow-up Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and features much direct relation to the current film. Our prince has become more attuned to the activities in which he engages, quick witted and snide as only a teenager or action hero could be, and wears a costume that bears a striking resemblance to that of Jake Gyllenhaal’s attire. And for an Arabian adventure, it seems quite strange that our hero has such a thoroughly British accent and vocabulary.

I'm really impressed. Much better than the 2008 game, even if it is a bit easy.
