Do We Own What We Own?

Unlike the NES or old Playstation games, where if you had a game and the console there was a good chance you could play until something broke. Now with the new technology available in gaming everything has changed. Possibly for the worst.

The story is too old to be commented.

But developers also own what developers own, which are the servers.

Luckily, most PS3 games have a great single play campaign,
which could be replayed and replayed over and over again.

Unlike games like Halo or CoD4/5/6, where the fun is only in the multipler and once Microsoft/Activision shut down the servers, it's over.

Again...a product like Assassin's Creed Or Heavy Rain need to validate the copy you've purchased by having your machine login online. What happens if that goes away?
