That’s right, gamers wanting to continue Ryu Hayabusa’s journey on the PS3 can now get a new copy of Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 at a new low price.
I can finally go ahead and purchase this game ^^
Same. Had to many other good games to play when Sigma 2 came out.Always told myself i'd pick it up when the price is right, shame it had to happen around Red Dead Redemptions release.. *sigh*
WTF? (facepalm) even on $60 that game is a steal
Yeah, but $60 is a bit much to spend on a game when i already spent $180 on other games at the time. Not to mention having to pay rent, hydro, cable, internet, phone and groceries. Sometimes i just have to make sacrifices..
More like scraped or some bad rug burn. LOL. Seriously $10, w/ all the good games coming out it'll get buried behind other titles just like when it was released.
I guess it's just a play on the 'slashing' gameplay. I dunno. It's a lame attempt at whatever they were trying to accomplish.
This game is like $20 on the Xbox 360... $50 still after 8-9 months!
Sigma games on 360. :D But you're right, the price of $50 for a remix/redone NG2 is still too steep. It should be more like $30 or $40
I love NG to death! Hands down my favorite game this past two generations, but $50 is too hard to swallow for a 8-9 month old game that is a remake of another game with minimal enhancements. Yes, there are no Sigma games on the 360 and in my opinion Sigma in game play is inferior. I prefer the original and to some annoyingly cheap pure Ninja Gaiden the way Itagaki intended it! Still, if you ignore the fact that the game is old $50 will provide you with a lot of value. That game has re-playability like no other game! Are you up for the challenge?
@IdleLeeSiuLung I must disagree with you. I've got both versions of the game (I got NGS2 on day one) and I much prefer the PS version. I'm much more familiar with the controller (I've been gaming on PS consoles for over a decade), and it seems more natural. I wish they hadn't removed the blood, but they did and ultimately it was a minor effect. Team Ninja balanced the game much better than the original NG2 as well. Fighting that Phantom Train was a real pain in the ass in the original. Although I do feel they made it too easy in the PS3 version. Plus, with all the stuff they added to the PS version I don't feel cheated at all.
Sigma 2 isn't quite as great as Sigma, but it's still well worth playing, even at a $50 price point. It'll be $30 relatively soon, though.
Its revolutionary approach to the sixaxis will make it a collectors item, I'm sure of it. But I got it for $10 on 360... lol@$10 price drop. So, free?
revolutionary in that it didn't incorporate it at all? maybe you were thinking of heavenly sword..?
He's referring to the... "jiggling" sensation that the Six-axis provides in this game. ;)
HAHA! Sorry, I didn't even remember that... Revolutionary indeed!
... if they hadn't decided to censor it like they did.
Yeah, might pick it up... as soon as I finish the first one that is (pretty hard though) :P
¿$10 price drop? Hmmmmm.....
I finished this game for Xbox 360. However, I do want the Playstation 3 version for the extras. As soon as it's $29, I'll buy it. I'm not sure why it is still priced so high, it's old.
When the game is $30, ill pick it up
rather get civilization revolution.....much more replay
...completely different game, my friend.
The game is only 15 quid here in England. Gonna buy it soon.
shouldn't this be like $30 at this point? it's a great game that i'd pick up again but not for $50.
a disagree for not wanting to spend another $50 on a game i bought day 1 and have since traded? wow.
Still too much. I'll wait for 30 bucks
Don't bother getting it at 50$ right now, I'd wait until it is at 20$ or 30$ probably sometime in the later summer / early fall.
And XBox gamers can get it for under 20 bucks right now! :] Gotta love $ony! ahaha
