Retro Review: Michigan: Report from Hell - Electronic Theatre

Of all of Goichi Suda’s (aka SUDA51) original works since the turn of the century, Michigan: Report from Hell is perhaps the least acknowledged of all. A joint project with Spike’s Akira Ueda – of which, SUDA51 recently hinted that the pair are interested in following-up in the future - Michigan: Report from Hell was a PlayStation 2 title that eventually arrived in Europe as a budget release (courtesy of 505 Games) in 2005, in the wake of Killer 7’s headline grabbing launch. While you would be forgiven for assuming that comparisons between the two would be Michigan: Report from Hell’s downfall, the title certainly has enough of it’s own original ideas to be considered an equal.
