LittleBigPlanet 2 supports all the content and creations from the first game, looks better, and brings all sorts of new ideas to the table. No longer just "a platform game," Media Molecule is set to deliver on its promise of this being "a platform for gaming."
LittleBigPlanet caused a stir when it was first announced. Not only did its homemade aesthetic look like nothing else, its "play, create, share" ethos created an experience more varied than any other game. With this came complexity though -- both in creating content and in communicating why the game was so exciting to potential players. Despite its 2.8 million created levels, countless awards and avid community, LittleBigPlanet was still something of an acquired taste.
