Remedy ‘Itching to do More Alan Wake’

The impending release of the Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake has been a long time coming. Originally unveiled alongside the Xbox 360 console itself back in 2005, Remedy Entertainment’s latest title is finally set to arrive this Friday, 14th May 2010, but that doesn’t mean it’s the end of Remedy’s time with the game. Having already announced the first downloadable content (DLC) pack with the intent that it would act as the connection between the first title and the potential sequel, the developer has enthusiastically revealed that it has much more planned for their latest franchise. (Alan Wake, Remedy Entertainment, Sam Lake, Xbox 360)

Well, it's obviously going to sell a fair few copies. Microsoft wouldn't have put as much money behind it if they weren't confident. You've got to think, as great as the Bright Falls shorts are, they would have cost a hell of a lot to produce and only a small percentage of the game's potential market will ever see them. Microsoft are pushing the game each and every way they know how, to each and every market they have a chance of selling it to.

I'm willing to bet that TV this weekend will be swamped with ads for the game...
