Despite the fact that the game isn’t at the alpha stage of development, id Software’s Tim Willits believes that RAGE is a better title thanks to Zenimax’s purchase of the developer.
Don't really know enough about Rage to get excited...
I'm just excited after seeing the screenshots! Though I wouldn't mind seeing some gameplay at E3, along with some new information regarding the storyline :)
ATM I see this as the most promising FPS for 2011.
All I know is that it is one of the most visually impressive games I have ever laid eyes on. The concept seems interesting as well.
Graphics look good but watch the recent gametrailers video and you will see the gunplay has gotten weaker for some reason, don't flame me it's just an observational opinion, im still gonna buy it as it is made by the legendary id.
I hope having to wait until 2011 is worth it for Rage.
At the moment Brink, Fallout: New Vegas and RAGE will all have to battle it out to win my wallet. Luckily RAGE is out in 2011, so it's more likely that I will get it.
And all are from Bethesda! Just remember, last year they were publishing average titles like WET, or in Rogue Warrior's case, awful games. Now they have huge blockbusters on the way :)
Its always good to hear things like this. I have always been a fan of id and most of the games they make. I have been very interested in RAGE ever since it was announced and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I remember when ZeniMax first acquired id a while back. I am glad to hear that the partnership is working as well as I had hoped it would. It sounds like ZeniMax understands the way id operates and is allowing them to make the best game they can; Bethesda seems to operate in a similar fashion.
Rage is soundin mega, im well lookin 4-ward 2 playin it, this was a good read http://www.playstationunive... (N4G was closed) even the PS3 version is runnin 60 frames second now So Zenimax acquirin ID has made Rage "A MUCH better game" I shall buy both Fallout: Vegas and Rage day 1
You won't hear anything about RAGE til QuakeCon
Acquisition might sound a little better than acquirement.
well i cant be hyped about something that really has no info/gameplay...
