Battlefield: BC 2 Console Weapon Tweaks Due Next Week

EA and DICE have confirmed that weapon balancing tweaks for the console versions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be implemented next week.

The update is due to land on Tuesday 11 May and will include all the tweaks in the recent PC patch as well as some new ones based on feedback from the PC community. The most recent changes include the PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun being “returned to their former glory” and G3, VSS, and all semi-auto rifles settling quicker between shots.

Saiga-12 long-range fix is a good thing. As for the rest... ah, multiplayer tweaks worry me anyway. While my gut reaction is to whinge and moan, I figure I'll wait and see how it shakes out first; this might not be as bad as I fear.

Bad Company 2 has better graphics, physics, sound, and a comparable unlock system.
