At its core it's a potentially great action game and it's very good-looking, but it explains itself so incredibly poorly and has such an awkward structure and poor checkpointing that a lot of the fun is ruined by interminable frustration – not to mention the fact that it's basically unplayable as a single-player game. It has a few genuine standout moments, especially on the rare occasions that everything works in co-op, but they don't balance out the faults.

Sadly I took this game off of pre-order. Too many bad reviews.

I cannot believe they have such a horrid save system and no "pop-in" coop? Seriously? I was one of the few that really liked the first but review after review is showing Capcom's huge misses with some major requirements. The enemies in MP are blue and allies are red? Nobody at their office ever said, "Um, I think we have this backwards?"

Such a let down. Oh, well. I was going to have to turn in Battlefield so I could get this and Red Dead, now, I will just wait for Red Dead. (I Gamefly)

I absolutely loved the first one. It was my first true next-gen game I ever played and it was great. I even developed an obsession for getting online and winning every match, joining clans through websites, etc. Maybe I'll buy it used later on. I'm still a fan.
