Hey sony fans, lets all pretend that microsoft did not have an impressive showing of all titles that are coming out soon and proving once again how much better their line up is than sony. Even though sony had to pull out everything they could, which was of course mostly tiltes from next year. Sony has figured out buy now that we really do like our wait beyond systems. Still waiting sony, still waiting. But hey since they did throw themselves at the press people might say they had a better presentation, with all the flash. To bad next time MS will have all new 2008 stuff that the held back like a non-desperate to impress company like our beloved sorny. i wont even bother putting what i think of nintendo's E3, microsoft's was average, nothing new on show really just what everyone expected, basically the whole thing being centred around HALO (which does look great by the way)! but in 'my opinion' before people start moaning! SONY stole the show completely, they had the best games on offer, mainly LittleBigPlanet, killzone and of course possibly the greatest game ever... MGS4, plus all the extras, HOME etc...

I think it was more about attitude. The Sony folks had an up-beat and humble presence. I actually think it's good that Sony's in 3rd place in the consoles wars as of now. Not being the "top dog" has forced them to connect with gamers on an entirely differently level than before. It has forced them to not mislead the gamer using the smoke and mirror approach (prerendered CGI movies pawned off as real-time game play) - they are becoming real people that care now or atleast it seems like it:) I've got all 3 systems and watched a good amount of each presentation and this time Sony's got my vote. Killzone--YAY!

I absolutely LOVED the COD demo at MS's conference, along with the Assassin's Creed demo.
All in all, MS did a really good job.

Nintendo.....it was just "Wii are at the top of the world" more so than anything else. Shut up and show us what's gonna entertain us for the next year. Oh and.. Wii Fit is not it.

Sony, well what can you say? It was games, games, and MORE games.
KZ2 looked awesome, Uncharted's making waves, LittleBigPlanet's their quirky gem, and it was REALLY nice to hear Sony being able to hold on to exclusivity for MGS4, and timed-exclusivity on UT3 and Haze.

Saying that Sony has been planning this thing the whole time making business arrangements for game developers to see what have they've been doing all this time I dont know why people think that Sony is arrogant so much thats like putting it harshly thats just like Saying Peter Moore isnt arrogant I mean come on the guy is working for Microsoft that is denieing the problem of the XBox 360 that has a major problem and instead they extend the warranty instead of actually fixing it! But if I had to choose who had the better games, then id have to say microsoft because all the games they showed are games that will be out this year.
Halo3, Mass effect, GTA4, PGR4, Viva Pinata Party Animals, Bio Shock, Blue Dragon, Lost Oddesy, Naruto, Eternal Sonta, Scene It, Assasins Creed, Call of Duty 4, Rock Band, Guitar Hero 3, plus more 3rd party games, but my point is they will all be in stores by years end, The only down side to this is too many games not enough money :( but gives me alot of choice.
But Sony had a good showing with MGS4 but its not out till next year, Killzone 2 looked great as did Haze and Unreal But Haze and Unreal 3 r timed exclusives so I can wait for them 2 games next year on the 360, So that just leaves Kilzone 2 which looks like a great game but not worth $599 just for that one game.

Sony proved they are ready to fight it out, and they will be bringing the games to prove it. Ratchet, Haze, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, and it just keeps coming. After all of the negativity from the past few months, it's almost unbelievable they pulled this off.

Microsoft had Mass Effect which looks like the best thing Bioware has ever done, and since these are the guys that made KOTOR that's saying something. PGR4 with bikes was personal favorite of mine, seeing the guy do a trick on the M4 Augusta while rounding a corner was great.

Nintendo get more of the casual game stuff out there, but other than that it was "We're great", 30 minutes of YouTube footage, and Wiifit. But I thought Wiifit was kinda cool, so I still liked the showing.

There's so much great stuff coming out I don't know how anyone could have the time to play it all. That's fantastic.

Sony needed to show they had games coming down the pipe - and they exceeded my expectations in that regard. Securing UT3 as a timed exclusive - nice move. And the price drop(if it sticks and the 60G is not going bye-bye according to other news) is fantastic. I always thought I'd get a PS3 eventually, Sony made me want one NOW.

Sony grade: A-

Microsoft has a great, and I mean great fall coming and they chose to focus on those games that we will play this year. I would have liked to see more of the future - a new IP or two. Mass Effect, Halo 3, COD4 and Too Human all blew my socks off. These are the games I'll be playing this fall.

MS Grade: B

Nintendo I can't really comment on. I watched some of Reggie, but was not impressed. I own a DS, but it is far from a main console. The Wii doesn't appeal to my more adult tastes - yet. I saw nothing that made me want a Wii, though I will acknowledge that my tastes jade my opinion - I am not Nintendo's target customer.

To me i think they where all good but
sony had the best E3 this year you can not deny that mostly because of killzone 2 that look great.
Then microsoft they could of showed whats instore for 2008 but decided That the focus was 2007 but nice showing anyway.

Then nintendo mostly showed same games or the 13 sequel to a game XD.

beside killzone what impressed me most was UNT3 the announcement of it being timed exclusive shows u that epic did have a fight with Microsoft i forgot what it was over:) and it also shows u that GOW 3 still has a chance of coming to ps3 not that i care really:P

If I remember correctly EPIC wanted to release those new map packs from a while ago (for Gears of War) free of charge. Microsoft being the greedy bastards they are declined their request. After that they discussed it and agreed they would sell it for 800 MS points ($10) and then release it for free in September.

The second fight I believe was about mods for UT3. Sony is allowing EPIC to have user created mods for UT3 (from PC) on the PS3. Microsoft denied their request because they don't want user created mods on their console apparently because of legal issues or something.

For the record I love my 360, but I must give credit where credit is due.

1. Sony (great) - Showed everything
2. MS (good) - Could have shown a lot more
3. Nintendo (repulsive) - had nothing to show

COD4 graphics surprised the crap out of me. Infinity ward is one of the best no doubt. 1up.com all agreed after they played the Halo 3 demo of the one level that the trailer was far from giving the game justice graphically. And Killzone 2 looked amazing, naturally, but not as good as Mario kart for the Wii......of course.
