CliffyB: 'Don't trust Gears 3 leaks'

Epic Games big man Cliff Bleszinski has warned gamers not to trust Gears of War 3 info leaked via scans of a Russian games mag.

According to translations of the mag, the third Gears has humanity in pieces, split into tribes and fighting for their survival. After flooding the last human city, Marcus and Dom have taken refuge on an aircraft carrier called Raven's Nest, on which the game kicks off. don't think its a lie. Ether way someone dropped the cog just because they said raven nest is were humanity lives instead of a game level doesn't means its wrong anyways only time will tell the truth

now i can't buy gears 3. I can't buy it if it is a waterworld replica. Gears 1 was great because it was gritty and looked like the apocalypse,had great graphics, but was too damn short..but hey 10 gig disc what do you expect.

Gears 2 on the flip side was plenty long but they dummyed down the graphics so they could make the game longer making it much more cartoony and more clay like (especially the reaver scene) The multiplayer was better quality graphics and less laggy in part 1 but more fun in part 2.

I think gears 3 COULD be hot if they either: made it 5 discs(4 for campain and 1 for multiplayer), or shrunk the hell out of the file size, and then shrunk it again for the hell of it.

But the most logical approach would to make it a 50 gig bluray monster and make microsoft make a blueray addon or make it for the luxurious, beautiful, elegante, sexy, reliable, $299 ps3 already equipped with bluray.

ohh yeah cliffster drop the waterworld theme...not cool. Bring Back Sera California, yeah unsink it and rebuild the city, if they got the tech to make a hammer of dawn, they can rebuild that dump in a 18 month period.
