Today saw the launch of not just a mere product, but a new way to game entirely within the confines of a browser. For years (decades even), gaming within your web browser has been largely confined to Flash-based games. This was fun for a time, but after a while got a little tedious and boring. Flash based games are usually very simplistic and hog a ton of resources from your browser. While I can't comment on the latter complaint, today saw the launch of Instant Action, a brand new service that promises to bring full fledged titles - within an embeddable code - straight to your browser, starting with LucasArts recently revamped Monkey Island.
