IT means they can now develop for all HD platforms(PC-PS3-XBOX360).

La Chance2706d ago (Edited 2706d ago )

If non HD means games that look like Alan Wake and HD means games that look like ModNation Racers or Demons Souls then PLEASE give me so more non HD games!

So a game can look like crap and long as its HD you're happy ??? Thats just like one of the weirdest way of thinking.

I just dont see any logic whatsoever right there...

Hallmark Moment2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

It means two pro 360 parties will be making a multi platform series spanning 10 years and two generations and the deal will end when people on this site are 42 - 50 years old lol

Chubear2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!! lolz

I must say though, I don't get how you can leave MS and jump in bed with activision. That's like jumping from the fire into the frying pan O_O

halojunkie2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

they can take advantage of the black beast(ps3) and make halo on steroids. bungie on ps3 is a win win.

EDIT:@lachance, please buy a ps3 like me, this is no time to miss out. fanboyism is illogical here, its the best time to buy a ps3.

Topshelfcheese2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

I personally don't care for graphic's but Demon's Souls wasn't that bad, and besides its an amazing game.

But, if you really want to argue graphic differences, I think FF13 shows all.

But, on subject, I have never bought a bungie game, I played the original Halo with a friend but imo didn't think it was all that great. I know a crap load of people love them though, so good to see they are funded for awhile.

@LaChance -- I hear what your saying, also I don't care who diagree's with me, we are all free to our own opinion. Anytime your honest about not liking Halo, people will disagree with you.

La Chance2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

I'm not new to this site though I stopped posting for a while.

I know who you are. If I noticed you its simply because when I saw yours posts I found it funny that a hardcore PS3 fanboy took a name and avatar like yours to stealth troll better.

Now back off and stop pretending.

@topselfcheese: Nah I'm not saying they look bad it was just a way of getting my point across. BTW the disagree isnt from me.

GiantEnemyCrab2705d ago

Chuchutrolley you are ignorant about the 360 by choice?

Maybe you really are as stupid as your comment makes you sound or maybe you are just having a go being a PS3 troll prick? Not sure.

The 360 not only does HD but will upscale non-HD to HD. So, stop lying and spreading FUD. The Wii in no way is HD and not even a fair comparison.

UnwanteDreamz2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

Calling out fanboys? As if one look at you comment history doesn't prove you are a 360 cheerleader.

As soon as you mentioned Demon's Souls ond ModNation as an argument you lowered yourself to fanboy status.

Edit: I like how "360 victims" pretend that the xbox fankids wouldn't be acting foul if the shoe were on the other foot. I know this changes nothing for MS or the 360 but fankids don't care about logic.

Qui-Gon Jim2705d ago

We have seen it before. Final Fantasy XIII, MGS:R. Every time a big exclusive from Sony goes multi-plat we hear how "Sony has no exclusives," "There is now NO reason to own PS3." Now the shoe is on the other foot. Fanboys on both sides will flip-flop the argument.

Will-UK2705d ago (Edited 2705d ago )

I dont like activision and if this new game is sucessful they will milk it.

Off-Topic - Fanboys calling out fanboys too funny usual N4G behaivor i should post some of these peoples comment historys.

I want to see new n4g now anyone got an idea what it looks like.

@GiantEnemyCrab

I'm not going to defend Chuchutrolley, his comment was ignorant and the Xbox has plenty of good looking games. But that said the Xbox was never designed for full HD. I'm sure it was designed with 720p in mind, which was fine given their originally planned 5 year shelf life. If they really had planned to support 1080p from the beginning then they wouldn't have gone with a framebuffer that's too small for a 1080p frame.

I know I'll get disagrees but only an idiot would design a 1080p system with a 10mb framebuffer, and I don't believe the engineers were idiots, so I'm going with the 720p hypothesis

It's only thanks to the work of some clever developers that Xbox games look as good as they do despite Microsofts lack of foresight.

It is nice to see that Bungie is getting a similar deal like Blizzard in that they get to own their own IP and still work to make now ones.

Activision seems to have two faces on one hand we know about Inifinity Ward, yet on the other hand Blizzard is still releasing Diablo III and StarCraft II when they think it is ready to go out.

Personally I think it was the new IP that was the most enticing. It's been pretty well known for awhile now that Bungie wanted to do something other than Halo. Activision has the funds to get that going.

G4: Bungie has extremely loyal fans. You guys are talking about going multiplatform with this and then you have the Activision name itself carrying a lot of weight. What was your gauge on how the fans were going to react and have you had a chance to see any of it this morning? The reaction seems to be very excited but very mixed.
Jarrard: Yeah, I think you're exactly right. People are just going to react to what their own perceptions and what they're reading online. I don't know anything more about anything else that's going on [at Infinity Ward] than what I read that you're reporting on. I think, based on what people know and hear, they may immediately have a perception. Honestly, we're just not worried about it because we do, like I said, in terms of our studio and our business and our creative plans, we have a solid, solid plan and partnership that's gonna work exactly as you want it to.
But in terms of the fans, one guy pinged me this morning, and he's like "hey, congratulations, internet's melting down! I'd be concerned, but I'm not. I've been a Bungie fan for 16 years; I remember when Microsoft bought you guys and that was the end of the world as well." I think that worked out okay for everyone and, ultimately, I think it's the games that are going to make or break our fan relationship with the studio, and now we just want our fans to know that we're secure. We've got pretty ambitious, crazy-awesome plans, and now all we need to do is just worry about executing those and everything else is...we don't have to worry about it anymore. It just frees us up to do what Bungie does best.

That Activision will only sink its claws deeper into the industry, affirming the rule of big business and the eventual stagnation of creativity in the market.

GiantEnemyCrab2705d ago

FFS.. This is getting ridiculous.. the entire front page is all Bungie news now. Enough! Is every Joe nobody website going to give their take?
