Capcom discusses the ethics of flying gaming press to Hawaii

Capcom held its annual press event in Hawaii this year, paying for many members of the gaming press to fly to the islands to take in the sun, drink some free drinks and eat some food, and of course... preview Capcom games. Some members of the gaming press paid for the trip, some didn't. Some gaming sites have since disclosed the nature of the trip, and some haven't.

Capcom's Melody Pfeiffer defends the practice of paying for writer attendance, arguing that many would not have been able to make the trip any other way. Watch the video for a look at this issue from the point of view of the PR person.
