Dammit, you beat my to posting this. Ahh well.

Every piece of media makes the wait for the beta even more excruciating. But, thankfully, there's not much waiting left to do!

Roll on May 3rd! Day One.

Game looks great, but the profanity used in this video is very unprofessional and should be beneath a developer of this caliber.

"There´s that magical step in the process, and, like, it stops being software, and all of a sudden, it´s more like this thing":

"I´m playing with my friends, having a beer. It´s awesome!"

May 3rd, gotta get some beer cases ready.

Because it really matters

We're all mature gamers here. it's a teen + Game right? Beeped words never hurted nobody in the past.

Does AW release on the 3rd. Either way between halo beta and AW. May will be a great month for me

I kinda agree with Bubbles Kitty, Im not sure why the need to use profanity. When your one of the most respected devs in the industry, why not behave like it.

But yeah I also agree its no big deal, just would be nice for someone under 40 to have even an ounce of class these days, what ever happen to class you know, why do we all have to act like mouth breathing knuckle dragging white trash, raised in the hills with no proper upbringing?

BrutallyBlunt3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

That's makes a lot of sense. Someone using Bubbles for their avatar saying profanity is unprofessional? Ever actually watch Trailer Park Boys?

Anyways this game looks damn sweet. You can tell these guys are so pumped to see the reaction of all their hard work. It's a shame we probably won't have more than 16 players but I guess that's not what the game is intended but it would be nice. I do like the closer knit online games but it would be cool to have the option for some truly massive online matches.

Love the customization of getting an online match going. With Halo's popularity they can get away with having so many choices. Now we can hopefully have much funner games with familiar styles of play.

There is a time and a place for everything.

Swearing like a drunken sailor while promoting one of the most respected video game franchises in history is neither the time nor the place, in my opinion.

I realize why they are doing it, but I believe it cheapens them as a developer, and if I were running things it would not be tolerated.

lowcarb3155d ago

I see were your coming from bubbles especially given the fact many kids will tune into this as well.

@vega: No Alan Wake is out on May 18th along with Red Dead.

I agree with Bubbles, this are professionals and it does not look too good that they are cursing in an official video to promote their product, it does not matter if they want to reach a mature audience, they should not use this kind of tactics, it does not look professional.

On topic:

9 more days... =)

FragGen3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

I agree with bubbles, too. Game looks AWESOME. Lead Engineering guy who keeps swearing all the time and jabbers like someone with ADHD on a crack binge is NOT.

Of course they give him the most camera time because people love trashy low-brow crap these days.

Another One3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

They're bleeped. Who cares? Have any of you listened to their podcasts? Plenty of unbleeped cussing. It's really not a big deal. Bungie is known for just telling it like it is around their community. They don't sugar coat things. I'm glad it finally came out in a ViDoc. They're excited, they're adults, and they cuss. Get over it.

Bnet3433155d ago

David Jaffe says the F word every 5 seconds, you don't see people complaining about that do you? No one really cares if they curse or not. We're not little kids, at least I'm not.

u got owned3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

@ Kigmal

well David Jaffe needs to learn that there are places and moments where you can curse and use bad language and places and moment that should not.

Like i said, is not professional and it makes them look bad, specially when there are so many kids who play video games and see this videos. Us gamers want everyone to respect us, but if we act like uncivilized people, then who's going to give us that respect.

@ Incognegro

I agree with you, but us as professionals (in this case Bungie), gamers with professions should have bounderies, i mean when i play my games on line i curse with my friends and have fun, but when doing my profession, key word proffesionals, i don't go around cursing with my clients and customers. It's just not right.

Each to their own, but for me it looks bad. Just my opinion.

Incognegro3155d ago

Last I checked, games like these weren't meant for kids regardless. Despite them getting their hands on them, it's understand that the environment that they're going to be put into can't and won't be moderated for language anyway. Most of the kids that get their hands on the game cuss more than most adults I know anyway. Not justifying that in anyway, but it's just the way of the world.

And you're going on that gamers need to be respected and hold themselves in a light that others can respect us, hell with that. They either respect us for who we are or not. It shouldn't matter what people perceive us and our medium of choice. Especially when you can even turn on the damn television and see profanity and sex damn near any time of the day. Again, not justifying the nature of these activities, but I refuse to be called black from the pot and question my existence as a kettle.

May is looking to be a great month for gamers.

BeaArthur3155d ago

Agreed, I may even have to skip LP2 because I won't have the time.

Shaman3155d ago

Man the game looks great,amazing...and looks like Halo MP on steroids, amazing job Bungie.

BeaArthur3155d ago

Yeah I like what they are doing with this game. Every Halo refines the experience a little more and this one looks like it's going to combine the best of each previous installment and then add a bunch of great new features.

Natsu X FairyTail3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

EPIC. Did I just see the guy pick up a Burning SKull and hit the enemy with it in the head and killed him making him win 2 points in a Row as a double Kill?

Gamer7l3155d ago (Edited 3155d ago )

...titled "Ghost Rider's revenge" or something. :D

BTW....the shot of the Gold Spartan coming out of stealth camo was f*cking awesome. You couldn't even see him before.

Gigalol3155d ago

PS3 can't handle this graphics.
