Sony is taking a cue from Nintendo by releasing a slimmer, more efficient PSP.
According to Sony the new PSP will be 33% lighter and 19% slimmer.
Lighter, thinner, better battery, video output, and faster loads.... It's all good ^^
sadly the psp craze died fast. i got mine used from one of my buddies and i semi-enjoyed mine but damn does it do a great job collecting dust
i wonder if this is just going to be a more efficient way to be a jack of all trades, master of none
at least some of the games are coming as mentioned at e3
I just bought one. oh well i will trade in for the new lighter one.
Hopefully for the hot $169!!
Nah, if you watched E3. They said the old PSP will stay $169.99 while the new PSP is $199.99
I will get one for sure :D .. Im waiting for it for a long time :P
I was hoping for atleast a 35% lighter model and a 20% slimmer design
No second analog stick!!!??????? That stinks
Where's the damn second analog stick?!? At least give us an attachable analog stick that connects to the usb port like what the modders been doing.
Too bad there isn't a complete new design. Not that the PSP is ugly... but well... Just hoped on a complete new design.
All this good NEWS.
ME AM HAPPY
They Should have at least thought about a new Analog stick, but I guess thats for PSP 2 or whatever, But I am glad to see them addressing the battery life issues.
Better keep it at the same price point too !
i would have hoped they would have added anothe anolag thing but then they would have to release some kind of fix for all the games on the market
So PSP Slim instead of the total re-design that was rumored?
Will the Slim solve the issues of battery life, internal storage, etc. that sometimes plagued the system?
And, what about a second analog stick?
Sorry, but this is disappointing.
Damn, been waiting for this really long.
will not buy it cos it does not have second analog stick!
simple as that
i will do the trade in program and bought a new one :D
No second analog stick, no redesign analog stick, no internal hard drive... no buy... I will stay with the one I have... I don't mind having a PSP that's will be 33% heavier and 19% fatter. I can handle the extra 0.191067 pounds. I workout and I have a sixpack...
could i play psp games on my tv?
So I don't see why not. If there is one thing that Sony does that I don't like, it's that it adds new features to subsequent models that current owners can't use. Like they did with the progressive scan output on the PS2. I would like the video output, but I'm not going to buy a new PSP for it.
The Star Wars bundle was fairly cool.
did they show a pciture of the star wars themed psp?
Is still 169 confirmed by CNN and Rueters.
Now has 64 MB of main memory (helping those load times)
Battery is 1200 not 1800 yet they STILL get better battery life??
I might buy the vader edition one..mainly because I'm a SW fan.
i was hopping for the 8gb memory flash and second analog stick but well is still pretty good
I gonna trade mine for the lighter version.
