"Age of Conan" Delayed till 2007

Along with the rather dull industry news that Eidos picked up publishing rights for Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures comes more depressing word that Funcom is also pushing out the MMORPG until 2007.

Despite the fact that Funcom took the path of least resistance when taking Robert E. Howard's vivid but politically incorrect fantasy world and translating it to an MMORPG, I've been looking forward to this one. So bummer. But to take some of the depression off, it looks as if console versions of Age of Conan are planned... the 360 being the most strongly rumored contender. (Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, PC, Xbox 360)
