Phil Harrison has told Eurogamer that Sony intended to set expectations incredibly high with its controversial E3 2005 trailer for Killzone 2 - and plans to exceed them with the finished product.
That is one bad-ass pic of Phil!
And the suspense for Killzone 2 continues...!
This game looks better then halo if these are real....cant w8 till tomorrow
IGN just said it was awesome.
I guarantee it. Especially when he said "It was important to demonstrate clearly that we have a real-time playable game that exceeds the expectations that we set for it."
Killzone 2 for the win baby.
disagree or agree
Sony fans add bubbles to each other.
Totally agree, they can really do something good with this game. But I'm still going to wait for the trailer to make a final judgement. Even though I'm hyped as hell for this game. The first game had a lot of potential, but not the right resources, funding, and hardware capability. But for the PS2 it was actually quite a good game for it's standards.
I don't own a Playstation 3; yet. But I'm sure interested in how this game will turn out. Despite being fan of the xbox 360, I'd hate for Sony to dissappoint it's fans, specially when they dropped a good 600$ chunk into their gaming system. Granted, I pray that this game isn't all eye candy and no enjoyment, which I'm beginning to be relieved of as I see more and more of the games set to come out in the next few months.
According to Joystiq and IGN it MEETS the trailer!! ACCORDING TO IGN ITS BETTER IN SOME WAYS!!!!!!!!
OMG 2 GIGABYTES PER LEVEL BLU-RAY FTW!!!!!!!!!!
MY HYPE METER IS OFF THE EFFING CHAIN!
Edit: I've calmed down: This is from a pre-pre-alpha build. It's just incredible. I can't believe they actually did it. Kudos to them. Bloody kudos to them.
WHAT 2GB!!!!! PER LEVEL HOLY CHRIST!!!!!......
That's completely shocking!
If the game exceeds the e3 '05 trailer like what Phil said, I will by a PS3 even if it cost a thousand bucks.
i wonder who's name that reminds u of hmmmm
IGN said it was damn close to the trailer!
News to hear
Please answer question above.
Well I am extremely impressed on the use of space but how effieciently have they used it? If you look at a game like Mass Effect and PGR4 they are stunning also visually as 360 games but still fit nicely on a 9gb DVD.
If this game is going to use that much space per level then it needs to have serious graphical rendering that has every area destructable to the finest detail and the highest physics.
i have to admit that the game looks pretty good. i dont own a ps3 and only an xbox1 and xbox360, so for me i would still be waiting for the ps3 to drop in price by quite a bit before i pick one up. i don't want to buy a ps3 now since i am sure there could be another price drop next year sometime. anyway, this game along with most of the anticipated games don't come out til 2008 so i can hold off on getting a ps3 til then.
if sony can start bringing quality games like Killzone2 to the ps3 consistantly, then it will finally have the game library to justify spending the money on a ps3
In order to compare length and details of the game but if they maximize its use 25 levels at 2gigs each to full a bluray disc with good compresion techniques inall but audio seems to be far far away...
That is one sweet looking Trailer of ingame footage, man i hope someone shot the whole 15mins of the man playing the game.
Thats what i want to watch.
Enjoy the pic!!
