GameArena writes: "This certainly has been the month for Japanese titles I never thought would hit our shores. After the insanity that was BlazBlue invaded the 2D fighting realm, another offering from Nippon hit stores recently and offers a unique blend of RPG, fisticuffs and at its core an extremely Japanese outing. The title is Yakuza 3, and I doubt you've ever played a game quite like it.
Originally released only in Japan in early 2008, local fans of the series have been bellyaching for years to get their hands on this puppy, and all the whining and moaning seems to have paid off. Yakuza 3 has to be taken with a grain of salt considering it's two years old now, and while the graphics are still up to scratch, they do lack some of the shine of more recent titles."
