G4TV: Splinter Cell: Conviction Review

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction marks a huge departure from the previous four games. Sam Fisher returns in a leaner, stripped-down game that has some stealth, but is heavy on the action. Factor in a fantastic co-op mode and you've got a game absolutely worth playing.

The story is too old to be commented.

4/5 x2 = 8/10

Solid score. I expected this game to score a lot better than 88 on metacritic (and dropping).

I have noticed that there are reviews were it seems they have not played the entire game. Plus not adding options or not using options to add to what style they are looking for. Renegade play or stealth. I love how this game is designed to allow you to choose either or. And creates a rather of a package deal to enjoy, over and over again.

Again, earlier web sites views. (below)

"The main campaign will apparently last up to 12 hours and can be replayed in a variety of different ways. Each time we replayed a level, there were different routes to be explored and new strategies to execute. " - (UK)

"We've only really touched upon the single player aspects of the game, not mentioning the additional co-op campaign which offers up to four hours or more play time, and the adversarial Face Off mode which again can offer limitless amounts of replay value. So to conclude, that for your $60 a five hour experience is simply not good enough, yet what gamers need to look at is the entire package, and remember that there's far more than 5 hours worth of entertainment with this game." - MSXBOX.COM
