GAME adds DLC warning to pre-owned

Consumers warned that that some second-hand games don't come with advertised digital extras.

Leading UK video games retailer GAME has introduced warning stickers on pre-owned copies of games that do not include the DLC those who bought the new version would have found in the box.

The move comes following news last month that GameStop is being sued for being "deceptively misleading" after selling a second-hand copy of EA's Dragon Age: Origins without informing the consumer that the game would not include the DLC access code advertised on the game's packaging.

The story is too old to be commented.
