At this year's E3 conference, Sony has a 1.2 hour press conference scheduled on June 15th. As a huge fan of everything Playstation, there are some serious worries to be had.
Sony wants to keep this years E3 a big surprise, because other years their information has been relesed ahead of time.
if they can keep the secrets in the company they will win again
Move is obviously going to be a big part, as well as PSP2 rumors and of course, the rumored games. -Twisted Metal Black 2 -SOCOM 4 -Killzone 3 -Resistance 3 etc. Actually, that alone will make me satisfied. Lack of announcements doesn't mean announcements are lacking. @Skv Lol, maybe. What I meant was just because we don't know of any rumors for E3 doesn't mean there wont be any. Does that make sense or is it just me? It's like the saying absence of evidence doesn't mean evidence of absence. Eh, point is, Sony wont disappoint and there is no reason to think so.
lol last year's e3 was hilarious. we knew every big thing before it came out. BUt it was still a very good e3 @above don't you mean lack of announcements of announcements doesn't mean anything lol (you know how they have a announcement about having an announcement on a certain date lol)
"there are some serious worries to be had. " I lol'ed...seriously. IMO Sony won last years E3, this year I expect will be no different. You never know though, a slim 360 would probably take the cake. @ young juice That's Carl Sagan ;)
i agree with alpha "the absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence" Samuel L. Jackson @parapraxis yeah i was making a boondocks reference in hopes of drawing out my fellow mcguders. lol season 3 is almost here :)
@ young_juice, boondocks is win :)
We still have two months... I'm sure more information will slip past them during that time.
Lol, I was like, wth, Samuel L Jackson? Yeah, it was Sagan I believe, though I replaced "evidence" with "announcements". Actually I think Sagan said extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, not absence of evidence means evidence of absence. Or did he say both?
"1.2 hour press conference" Ugh Thats not enough time especially when you have PSP, PS2, PSN, Move, and PS3 to talk about. The limited time is whats worrisome
Its important to note that Sony traditionally focuses on PSN related news at Gamescom. PSP has also always shared equal presentations at E3, TGS, and Gamescom. I also doubt they would devote more than 2 minutes to the PS2. As for the Move, they've already revealed the hardware. For Sony, all E3 is going to be about is software. PSP software, maybe 1 or 2 Move titles (the games that should sell people on the Move, if you will), and PS3 software of course.
Sony is very quite that is a very good sing, no more links this year, if I know Sony there going to show off some new IP’S and some sequels… fingers cross for twisted metal!!!!!!! If Sony announces this they won E3 in my book…
"But now, what do Playstation 3 fans have to look forward to?" http://www.gamestop.com/Cat... There's that and a bunch of other stuff, so start skipping a meal or two once a week so you can join in on the fun later this year.
i'm happy that sony has no e3 leaks this year...
we still have 2 months to go, you people are acting like if its going to happen tomorrow, there is enough time for leaks to happen, and Im pretty sure they will.
does anyone know how much time will be devoted to the move and 3d sections?
Sony will unveil the most powerful beast on earth and that is called PS5. PlayStation 5 will be so cool.
dude. im scarred toooo
no pre-E3 leaks =D I'm guessing some KZ3, Agent and maybe something else?! =O can not wait =)
I'm hoping for some surprises and I know Sony will have some massive announcements. - David Jaffe is set to reveal his studio's game, which is probably Twisted Metal for PS3. - Loads info about Gran Turismo 5 and hopefully a final release date. - Yu Suzuki is rumoured to be revealing a previously cancelled game for PS3. - SOCOM 4 with Move will probably be shown. - Playstation Move game demonstrations are very likely. - I think the debut-teaser trailer for "Agent" will be shown. - Final Fantasy XIV info/gameplay/trailer. - Maybe a Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer will be shown, or perhaps some gameplay. - The Last Guardian might make an appearance. - I'm also expecting some exclusive sequel announcements such as Killzone, Resistance, Motorstorm. I have a strong feeling that some massive exclusive announcements will be made by Sony.
Killzone 3 Resistance 3 Agent L.A Noire Gran Turismo 5 Socom 4 Umcharted PSP God Of War 2 PSP Enough Said.
im not so sure about those last two.
i cant call over 1 billion dollars in revenue for avatar a gimmick and the 70 million people who bought a wii a gimmick maybe that is jsut me but those dont seem like gimmicks.
Seriously, some games who are not announced yet are already confirmed to be in development. Those include Killzone 3,Resistance 3,Starhawk,Infamous 2,Demon's Souls 2 and David Jaffe's new game.Plus some already announced games such as FFXIV,Socom 4,Agent and FFVXIII,Sony has no short of games to show at this year's E3.
I hope Sony announches Kevin Butler - The Game. With trophy's such as: Boom!, With a Stick!, and Pew Pew Pew!. And ofcourse a minigame involving you NOT catching a big red ball.. That would be awesome!
This article fails, E3 is months away
I think there will be Killzone 3, Starhawk, LBP 2 (a complete 3d version), R3, most probably Agent, New Twisted Metal, Infamous 2, Sony Bend's new game, last guardian along with the obvious GT5. I think one of the best advantages of having so many first party studios, that there definitely is something in the pipelines. Plus i think sony is going to blow every one away with a few games for Move. I just wish Sony would put one of there studios to build a WRPG like Mass Effect.
