NFL 2K13 Comes One Step Closer to Reality with Take Two Sales

2K needs to get back to football and forget about baseball for now. 2K makes great basketball and football titles, been slipping in hockey, and never really made a "great" baseball game. So I can't wait for a real football game from Visual Concepts.

This could be pretty cool to see another NFL 2K game. I just hope that Take Two would not be the only one making football games. If EA and Take Two can both make football games. It will bring competition and both companies will try harder to make their game better. I also hope that EA can make Baseball games too. For the same reason as football. With more games on the market you will have to push yours more to make it better. So at the end of the day gamers win.

Why doesn't the NFL grant the license to any company as opposed to an exclusive license? Wouldn't the NFL make more money and possibly increase NFL exposure with more companies competing to make the better NFL game? It would be a win situation for the NFL and gamers.

Otherwise can someone explain the NFL's rationale for this?

Because the NFL has gone super stupid. It's just completely dumb to give EA this monopoly. Madden wasn't great before, but it has gotten worse anmd worse with no competition.
