Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption no more?

Seems like Nintendo may have some big announcements in store for Super Mario Galaxy, like the fact that it no longer goes by that name.

David Rodriguez discovered today that Super Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption has mysteriously vanished from Nintendo's master list of games on their company website.

This is suspicious news in and of itself, but considering that video game mega-con E3 is just around the corner, SWL are willing to bet they're planning to drop the bomb and a new name.

It is unlikely that Nintendo will rename the games, but it is still interesting that they don't present in the list.

bet against it. Nintendo do rename a lot of it's product with perfectly good names with stupid names.

It happened the with the N64 (was Dolphin)
It happened with the Gamecube, but I can't remember what that was called and it happened with the Wii (Revolution).

It was only a matter of time before they started doing it to there games, although I hope they don't, because they've been announced for over a year and that's what people know them as!

N64 was codenamed "Project Reality" then "Ultra 64"

The Gamecube was code named "Dolphin" after the processors.

Oh My God I thought they were like canceled of something.

But I'm guessing it's just a glitch or they're updating the pages. We already have official box art for Corruption so I'd say this is a non-story.

Mario Galaxy is more likly to change name but Metroid? Its alreay cool and Corruption is a nice and suitable subtitle for the story.
