Gamingxp: An add-on with so many new content, there was never before for the Anno series. A new party, new buildings and units and the possibility of his own palace (similar to " Anno 1701 ") set up to would already apply to as add-on.
GamersGate has discounted the two title ANNO 1404 Gold Edition, taking $17.50 off the pack through Sunday as part of its Weekend Sale. The bundle offers the core title along with its expansion Venice.
Venice delivers some genuinely excellent features in a game that was already a leader in its genre. It is arguable that Related Designs are a victim of their own success by creating new features that feel such a natural fit for the original that the player wonders why they were not there in the first place. The additional material in Venice gives the impression that it should have been part of really great enhancement patch, rather than a fully featured and fully priced expansion.
IG writes: "Anno 1404 was last year a great PC game where you play during the hours really flew by. If you suddenly get the warning that you're already three hours and it might be a good idea to stop, afraid you'd still be rotten. But it also shows just how wonderfully addictive game that is. In Anno 1404: Venice will probably put a whole lot of precious hours lost."
