PlayDevil: Heavy Rain PS3 review- the most depressing game of all time?

Heavy Rain has to be one of the most anticipated PS3 games of 2010- but did the PlayDevil reviewer like it? And is it the most depressing game of all time?

Here is a snippet from the review:

"Being essentially a movie with branching story elements it is hard to talk about specifics of the plot without ruining the experience. To give a simple overview, I took control four characters through out the story, each on the trail of the Origami serial killer.

Though the game's four lead characters paths' rarely intersect the events of their stories play out consecutively. Each character's plot does have an interplay with the others that I found at times entertaining to watch unfurl, because as the player I was often better informed than any of the characters under my control." (Heavy Rain , PS3) 88/100

Another flamebait title....

I guess they must be desperate for hits.

"they must be desperate for hits."
obviously.

honestly, no single-player experience has made me as genuinely nervous, unsettled, surprised, emotionally riven and altogether involved as Heavy Rain.

"Depressing" was referring to the dark, moody and rainy atmosphere during the whole game, not as a title for more hits.
