Originally entitled, Kin, Killzone takes place in the distant future. Humans have ventured out to colonize the galaxy. One set has settled on the planet Vekta while the others went on to the planet Helghan. The Helghast and the Vektans have had some bad blood stirring between them and the Helghast dictator, Scolar Visari calls all of Helghan to arms for the second Vektan War.
