I think all the RROD topic/talks are getting a little bit of a ... shall we say .... aggrivation. (Like the IPone topics in the Phone Gadget World)

FOLKS ... ever here the phrase "Beating a Dead Horse"
- 360 had RROD issues.
- Folks complained that MS was not admitting the issue was important.
- MS admits fault, takes in on the chin, steps up to plate with 3 year coverage so 360 owners (or soon to be) will know they are covered for 3 years and new consoles on the way have alread had and will have more improvements to get rid of the issue.
How much more can you say on the "SAME F'N TOPIC"

Next person in the local video games shops that mentions the RROD around me, I swear to God, I will subconsiously smash them square in the face.

No more Over heating!!! Fanboys would go quiet on this issue.
MS steps up to the plate, initiates the largest and most expensive consumer warranty program in human history, and it's nothing but b***ing on all fronts.
Come on, people. Regardless of your affiliation, this move is incredible news for all gamers.
I agree but its mostly PS3 fanboys(90%) with dooms day hopes and (10%) 360 fans showing the news for what its is(the best warrenty in gaming history for a console).
People will move on; current owners should be happier than they were before they new they knew they owned problem 360 matter of fact before they purchased it and future owners will see 360 could be a risk(as of current or recent) but the warrenty is the best any company offers and they do have the best games and service(s).
People will move on despite what Sony fanboys say there are more happy people than people saying hell no in mad and will steer clear(mostly Sony fanboys talking sh*t). Nothings changed everbody new the 360 had problems; Ok its alittle different owners and future owners now know they have the best warrenty ever!.
sure it sucks, we all know the console has had some problems but damn man. They are paying customers who paid for repairs BACK and covering your system for 3 years, and if you have a RROD you get another 1 year standard warranty and another 3 years of RR protection. On top of that their making fixes to the system to prevent this. What more do people want, their blood. They are actually trying to do right by the consumer. I give them props for that, that's a hell of a lot better than what Sony told me when my PS2 had DRE, it was ok buy another one. Which I did, and now I'm on my 3rd PS2. Why do I keep buying PS2's? Because I love the games on it. Still makes me very angry.
.. so you mean to tell me let's say my console gets the RROD two weeks before my 3 years is up ...
- I send in my console and have it repaired/replaced "FREE"
not only that but THEN ..
- Once back I get another FULL YEAR "Front to back" warranty again and the full 3 year coverage starts over.
If I read that correct and THAT IS WHAT IT IS ....... HOLY SH!T batman ... you would have to be NUTS to not buy a 360. Awsome games, and the MOST OUTSTANDING protection plan on the planet in regards to a console. Plus they are adding the new upgrades to ensure the issues are minimized.
IMO, I think M$ is slow acting up on this issue, til the news about 30% of 360 failed surfaced on the web. They should have started @ 10% instead waiting for 30%...10% that is 1 million users are having problem with the console... I am pretty sure they are collecting your information for when you sent it in.
Cool, that they offered 3 years warranty...
I wonder if new gamers planing to buy console this holidays will have 2nd thought on the 360...
