Bioware's Christina Norman, Senior Technical Designer, has revealed today via twitter that "Project Wombat" has been started for Mass Effect 3. She also gave us a clue that it might have to do with a new system for ME3.
some butthurt sony fanboy gave a big alan wake spoiler below me. i would avoid scrolling down if you plan on playing the game. P.S The spoiler is in his name too.
Some Xbox fanboy "tried" to give spoilers for Heavy Rain before the game released too but later we learned that it wasn't a real spoiler after all. This is probably the same kind of thing. The game is not out yet so unless he is working at Remedy he can't know but only guess.
How about...Project remake-the-game-into-what-it-w as-originally-an-RPG-not-a-thi rd-person-shooter.
"Bioware's Christina Norman, Senior Technical Designer, has revealed today via twitter that "Project Wombat" has been started for Mass Effect 3. She also gave us a clue that it might have to do with a new system for ME3. " Oh my God not this Christina Norman chick again. Thanks to her, inventory and most parts of the combat system is ruined in Mass Effect 2. Removing the inventory and looting lots of different types of weapons/armor/mods is the worst idea for an RPG game. Adding heat clips was a great idea but very limited ammo on some weapons (especially pistols and shotguns) was a problem again. Hopefully they learned their lesson from Mass Effect 2 and will create perfect RPG with Mass Effect 3. Looking forward to it.
I wonder if they are actually gonna make the cover system good and not just tacked in.
I would trade Demon''s Souls any time for Mass Effect 2 :) Both are great games, I got 100% pf the achivements in ME2(PC) and plat trophy on DS so I know wich one is better, at lest for me, and it is Mass Effect2. Killzone3,Dragon Age 2 , Doom4 and Mass Effect 3 are my most desired games for 2011. Right now I am playing Final Fantasy 13 , got around 3 hours so far and Mass Effect 2 is still by far a better game and will win as the best RPG of 2010.
Thanks for beta testing the first two. I'm sure my fellow droids will enjoy this game just as much as I did on my pirated copy which I ran on my pirated Windows XP.
Firstly I own the Xbox 360 and just got a new PS3 slim the other day, if you give negative view points about an Xbox 360 game you are a PS3 fanboy, if you give negative view points about a PS3 game you are a Xbox 360 fanboy. You can never win on this site, owning both machines I am able to enjoy games on both systems. If you own both systems or all 3 then you have more to enjoy, why restrict yourself and hate? The world has enough problems with people being nasty and containing violence its rather petty that many sit on here day in day out slagging off a 'games console'.
Congrats on owning both systems!! OnTopic: ME2 is my GOTY so far so my anticipation for ME3 is higher than anything else at the moment.
So that's what the counter is for (still no PS3 version)
ME2 was great, Bioware knows how to pull off great games, ME3 will be even more epic
ME3, Star wars, dragon age2, witcher2, crysis 2, doom4, FF14,ect. Between my pc and 360. It's going to be a great 2011. Can't wait
Fable 3 and FFXIII Versus as well
I'm glad this game won't be on the ps3. Else I would have to stop supporting bioware and start renting their games like I do Sony games. Sony doesn't deserve a dime of my money. Thank you gamefly.
Do you think Gamefly don't pay anything for the games they rent out? Talk about ignorance...
Sony is glad that it didn't get your lousy easy stolen money !
for me,it's game of this console generation! Not played a game I've enjoyed so much since the original Halo.To put that in to perspective,I think both consoles - I own PS3 & 360 - have been a huge let down.Exceptions for me being, WOHD on PS3 & now ME2 on 360. All else pales by comparison.Yes, I've played and completed both Uncharted games, and most of the other major titles on both platforms, many of which I did enjoy, but not a patch on ME2. I kept away from the original ME because of the well publicized technical issues with the title. As an ex PC gamer I'm very selective when it comes to game quality. However, having nearly completed ME2 for the second time,I'm seriously reconsidering the purchase of the first. Can't wait for number three.
