U.S. Release Date Revision

IGN has yet again updated their PS3 release list, this time giving day and month, targeted dates for all PS3 titles through to the end of October.

Interestingly, Killzone and MGS4 remain in their Q1 2008 positions.

The story is too old to be commented.

It's seems that I will be getting nothing but SOny's 1st party titles. Lair, warhawk, heveanly sword, socom, uncharted and assasin's creed too. This is what gaming is all about BABY!!!! can someone give me bubbles I have both systems but xbots don't like that I agree with the PS3

I thought it got pushed back a month...oh well everything keeps changing with these dates it is hard to keep up with all these great titles coming out in the summer and fall. Thanks for the clarification deep.

Actually, 8 days got pushed back with the previous update;)

Why would Sony let hot titles release after the holidays? like MGS, 8 days and... well maybe Killzone 2...sell will be dying down after the holidays...

Not sure I completely agree on that one. Capcom released Lost Planet in January and that has done extremely well for the 360. Similarly, in 2006 GRAW launched in March to huge success. The way I see it, launching a console in March is a VERY different thing to launching a 60 dollar game in March.

Oh, and since 8 Days is TBA 2008, it likely means that it will ship way far into that year, not necessarily near these other big games.

I think they are trying to keep something for the game drought that generally occurs from March to September. They may be trying to avoid what happened this year to the PS3 and the 360.
