At GDC, Record of Agarest War Zero (aka Agarest Senki Zero) is one of the products Compile Heart is showing to publishers, which they hope will be picked up for international distribution.
If you enjoyed Record of Agarest War on the PS3 or Xbox 360, then you'll be happy to hear that the prequel, Agarest Senki Zero, will be making way to the US and EU.
I saw anime ass and clicked this without reading the title. I am so mature and awesome.
I liked the first one, wasn't a bad game and I had been wondering if this one would make it state-side.
siliconera writes:Compile Heart (surprise, surprise) is bringing Agarest Senki Zero to Xbox 360. Famitsu has an article about the port, Agarest Senki Zero Dawn of War, which outlines extras.
* An additional new costume
* Girls change their outfit depending on their feelings towards the main character. When you include downloadable content, each girl has seven costumes.
* Event gallery mode where you can watch events
* Unreleased CG that wasn't used in the PlayStation 3 version.
Unreleased artwork? Record of Agarest War Re-appearance, the Xbox 360 version of Record of Agarest War, was a tad racier than the PlayStation 3 version. Nothing salacious, though. Record of Agarest War is still a CERO C (15 and up) title and a "T" for teen game in North America.
Andriasang: In case you didn't believe the retailer Twitter feed. In case you didn't believe the pre-order slip. Here's some totally solid proof that Agarest Senki Zero is coming to Xbox 360.
This is actually the only JRPG that has a lot more stuff included on it for the 360 than the PS3. It's usually the opposite.
sigh*
if blue dragon, star ocean 4, lost oddyssey, tales of vesperia, mass effect 1 and 2 were poorly welcomed, what more about this game? ultra-poor? 360 fans don't buy games without halo and gears on it, thats a fact so for me this is just a waste of developers time.
i suggest RPG developers stop developing effort and money in making rpg games for 360 because they will go bankcrupt in the long run.
Aksys doesn't pick this one up. They will distribute it in the US. as digital only. If they do get it I hope Ghostlight gets the european distribution so I can buy it from them then. It will probably have a collectors as well.
