Metal Gear Solid Rising: Accessibility Issues?

TGH Writes:

"I'm sure any amateur gamer has heard of the legendary, "Metal Gear Solid" series. In light of the upcoming release, "Metal Gear Rising", I thought i'd take time out to identify why some gamers may have trouble accessing it. Now, hold a cross against my head and burn me to dust, but I didn't play the fourth game. However, I'm a true fan of the story, and I definitely know what separates the clones from Snake; but partly because I've played every MGS game, barre the fourth, and am actually obsessed with Hideo Kojima. Trust me. I'm so dedicated, I made a carving of his bust…using my eyeball."

MGSR is about Raiden and will be a different story set in the MG universe. It still has Solid in the title, since Raiden comes from the Solid series.

Definitely looking forward to what Kojima and his team can do on Xbox 360.

The more likely reason that the word "Solid" is in the title is that Microsoft would not agree to pay unless the game was called "Metal Gear Solid." Kojima probably wanted to call it "Metal Gear Rising" or maybe even "Metal Gear Raiden". I don't know that for a fact, but the phrases "Metal Gear Rising" and "Metal Gear Raiden" sound too natural to have never been considered, doubly so when you consider that the game is about Raiden and not Snake.
