TCPalm: Heavy Rain Review

Five years ago, a little game called "Indigo Prophecy" quietly rocked PC and PlayStation 2 owners by giving them the closest thing to a choose-your-own-adventure-style gaming experience. "Prophecy" was not the most celebrated or popular game ever made, but with an immersive story and well-defined characters, it was as close as you could get to playing out a movie from start to finish.

That cinematic experience returns in "Heavy Rain," made by the same developers who created "Indigo Prophecy." The game features a new story and protagonist, but again thrusts players into a narrative that can reward them with a rare feeling of true connection to the characters. (Heavy Rain , PS3) 4.5/5
