Top 10 Most-hyped Product Launches including PS3, 360 & Wii

With the release of the iPhone Friday, Apple will complete what some are calling the most hyped product launch in technology history. Whether or not that's true, there's no doubt that the frenzy has reached epic proportions, with constant articles, photo galleries and commentary in this and countless other publications. But the iPhone is hardly the only tech product to launch with a high hype factor and heavy expectations. Here is a look back at some of the other high-profile launches that got the tech industry talking. (Industry, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360)

I think the most hyped has to be PS3 launch. I mean all the media and internet sites were talking about it and there was a lot of talk and coverage. But thats just me, I dont know much about some of other launches in list.

I've been seeing iPhone so frequently, especially at engadget's site. It's almost like the Paris Hilton of the tech-world.

sorry
I fail to see this phone worth that much money when it has some major cons about it. If i were to buy a phone for that much money, it better only have a few minor cons, not several major ones

I thought PS3 was overpriced
and then iPhone came out, which makes PS3 look like a bargain.

Iphone cost as much as calling E.T from his house!
Even if E.T. phones home, I doubt people will but this crap! I remember this guy tried to sell Bling Bling water as $25. dollars a bottle with glamour & glitz. His success droped faster than his "I'm talking to myself conversation!

i dont know what your talking about
sumfood4u but o well.

i think most big tech launches have to be overly hyped, only way there going to sell to the mass market( except for the gizmodo =/). Sure ps3, 360, and wii would sell to us because we keep up with stuff like that, but most people don't.
