Is XBLA's New Party Piece Worth The Points?

Wednesday will see the start of the first XBLA event of 2010. Called either 'House Party!' or 'Block Party!' depending on your locality, the month long event includes the release of Perfect Dark, Scrap Metal and Toy Soldiers. As such, the boys at thanklessgrind.com discuss whether the concept of XBox Live! events is just a con to get people to parting with more points than they would normally, or whether the community spirit it engenders is worth every penny. (Perfect Dark XBLA, Scrap Metal, Toy Soldiers, Xbox 360, Xbox Live Game Room)
