Edge: Appropriately enough, puzzle-battler Clash Of Heroes matches three unfortunate burdens: a name so generic that it defies recollection, the dubious preconceptions created by preceding entries in the stolid Might & Magic strategy series, and a release on the piracy-rife DS. But if this woeful alignment dooms the game before a single battle has been puzzled, or hero clashed, then no blame lies with the developer. Capybara Games has taken a vague semblance of Might & Magic's hokey fantasy, and recast it as a smart and endearingly whimsical game that, with its central match-three tenet, owes the larger part of its inheritance to PuzzleQuest than any game in its own franchise. 9/10
