Just a little more time and effort and you'll finally tame the beast.

Great overall. Me like.

They were pretty negative in that review tbh

QuackPot3771d ago (Edited 3771d ago )

So r u saying they didn't have valid points for deducting 1.3 points?
That's why it's a review.

Their final verdict:

* "...there's a whole lot to this package and it shouldn't be passed up."

* 8.7 Great

Now if that's pretty negative then damn the tards to hell. lol

More proof the PS3 is not *quite* as powerful as the 360, but comes in a damn close second.

Torch3770d ago (Edited 3770d ago )

Sorry but, how is that proof?

Just because a Formula One driver in a WRX outraces a cab driver in an Enzo Ferrari, doesn't make the WRX better or more powerful.

(though I definitely wouldn't want to be the one to fit the bill for that cab fare.) ;)

well negative or not it doesnt matter what they think ...only matters what the people whos buying this game and playin it thinks :)

Got it last night for the PS3 and it is a great game for the PS. The multiplayer is robust and adding voice chat into it makes it one of the best mutliplayer games for the PS3. The graphics are excellent and the controls are tight. Anyone with a PS3 should pick this up. I like it better then resistence online because it is only 6on6 and you it isn't a run and gun type of game.

This game is like 7 months old, whats the big deal? Everyone should switch theirs focus on The Darkness

Antan3771d ago

Newer is not necicarily better.

QuackPot3771d ago (Edited 3770d ago )

There was no Ps3 version back then so if you didn't have an xbox 360 you had to wait.

I still won't be buying my xbox 360 for another year when everything will be cheap.

Admittedly, I'd probably buy the multiplatform shooters optimized/developed on the xbox 360 ahead of the Ps3, due to the controller and the more effort put in by developers for the games.

i heard that necessarily is a very difficult word to spell.

Torch3770d ago (Edited 3770d ago )

That's not nesussarely so.

@vojkan:
"Everyone should switch theirs focus on The Darkness"

But then I wouldn't be able to see. ;)

One area that Rainbow Six: Vegas on the PlayStation 3 does fall a little short on when compared to the other versions is with regards to visuals. It's a nice looking game to be sure, but the whole thing doesn't look quite as sharp as it could. Colors are a little duller and there isn't as much use of certain effects, like bloom lighting and such. Some folks may appreciate that aspect to a certain degree, but beyond that it still doesn't look quite as nice as what we've seen previously. Some texture work isn't quite as sharp, and the characters aren't as detailed as what's found in the 360 release, especially in the faces.

Let's just say Ubisoft is one lazy developer!

no lets just say that the PS3 aint the super crazy powerful machine that you all think it is!!

I was being sarcastic dude.
