Liked:

* Strong character design with gorgeous graphics, complete freedom to play the game how you would. Treat people how you would and once again feel guilty for your choices.
* Innovative control scheme that made me feel involved in the action, more than just shooting and fighting, the controls actually made me feel the strain of gameplay during tough scenes.
* Beautifully mixed surround sound audio that makes you feel like you are in the game, rain falling from all speakers and voices coming from good screen placement, and a gorgeously composed soundtrack.
* Everything this game had to offer

Disliked:

* The thought that people won't play this

Score:

* Graphics – 10
* Audio – 10
* Gameplay – 10
* Replay – 10
* Story -10
Overall : (Heavy Rain , PS3) 10/10

teletext just did a review on HR and gave it 4/10
So up yours teletext should now make more sense

It's a very 'English' thing, and very appropriate in this instance! Sounds better coming from Sid James of course.

Excellent score.

Heavy Rain shows the power of the PS3 in terms of graphics.

Quantic Dream and Sony have out done themselves.

Developers take note.

Sad that this maximum scoring review is being passed over in favour of the Teletext (I mean, "Teletext"?) one still... I'm playing HEAVY RAIN now (well, five minutes ago anyway!). My opinion? BEAUTIFUL, in every sense of the word.

I was on the verge of tears within ten minutes of starting... The joy of playing with 'your' children contrasting so sharply with the loss of the child's pet (with the dialogue being a very profound signpost of things to come)... then that first 'incident'. Truly startling, and I genuinely felt I was directing everything my character did - So much for 'QTE' moaners.

So no, no other game, EVER, has achieved that for me. Quantic Dream has done something very special here and the jealous savages deliberately spoiling it have FAILED - HR is a pleasure to play regardless of whether you know (one of) the endings.
