BioShock 2 - ZTGD Review

Carnage writes: The first Bioshock is now considered a modern classic, one of those games that took everyone by surprise with its' amazing story and rich atmosphere. The second Bioshock is the sequel nobody wanted but we got anyway because it made sense on some financial reports. Bearing the weight of how amazing the first game was and how not wanted the sequel quickly became, the team at 2K stepped up to the plate and delivered a great game that will continue our love affair with the underwater city of Rapture. (BioShock 2, PS3, Xbox 360) 8/10

I urge anyone who has not picked this up yet (and has a half decent PC) not get the console versions, texture quality on the PC is far superior. Normally I'm more than ok with console games, Bioshock 1 had decent textures but with number 2 its like they have taken a step back :(

That's always the case though, no?
And I found that once I unlocked the framerate the game looks much much better on the PS3 at least. Maybe that's just courtesy of my tv. But yeah, I urge anyone that liked the first to at least rent this one.

You are correct
The visuals on PC are far better in Bioshock 2. That is not a jab at the consoles, by any means - I own all three current consoles - but simply a statement of fact. Those that have PC as an option will do better to go with that platform regarding this game.

P.S. The game itself has been a great time so far.
