USA Today: BioShock 2 Review

The challenge is daunting: create a stellar sequel to arguably one of this console cycle's most important video games.

Although BioShock 2 falls a bit short vaulting the high bar set by 2007's BioShock, the latest adventure from studio 2K Marin represents a pretty strong second chapter.

The first BioShock introduced players to Rapture, a former underwater utopia ravaged by civil war. Roaming the remnants of the city were Big Daddies, lumbering guardians protecting the spooky Little Sisters as they mined dead bodies for a precious biological resource called Adam.
